By using PDF Vista Server Edition, you will be able not only to create PDF files from most Windows applications, including Word, but the users of your Network will be able to create them too, on their client-side. Easy to install, the program puts the PDF Vista printer icon straight into the Printers folder in your Control Panel alongside your other printers. A PDF Vista Server Management Console icon is placed on your desktop during the program's installation and this provides you with easy access to your PDF Vista printer, its Properties and Preferences, and other printer operations. Printer Drivers options can also be accessed from the Console. For example, selecting the printer from those displayed on the interface, and then clicking, say, on the Properties menu button, will prompt the program to open the PDF Vista printer's Properties window immediately.

To create a PDF file from a Word document, select Print from the File menu, then select the PDF Vista printer and click on the properties button beside the text box. When the PDF Properties window is opened, go to the Output tab and select the Output options that suit you, and then click OK. The application will open a window where you can specify where you want your PDF file to be saved. A PDF reader will then be opened, displaying your newly converted file. With this fine program, the PDF Vista Server Management Console keeps you in control and you can enable or disable a shareable PDF printer and customize Color, Images, Fonts, Security, and Output settings from within Printing Preferences. Online tutorials are available for the program and animated tutorials are also available for you to download.
